Some great shots on the way.

Well done Liam, I've added you to the news release on the forum, and emailed Jim to see if its not too late to get you added to the press release for The Comet  Smiley

(Try to email your race results to results@fvspartans.org.uk by 8pm on a Sunday)

Just wanted to add my congrats to everyone who ran for or supported the club yestersday (Andy P - thanks for your encouragement on that last difficult mile ... It did the trick!)

Also wanted to mention that I shaved 6 minutes off my previous PB to finish in 1:39:07 (621st overall) (I believe I was missed off the news release), which I'm extremely pleased about seeing as I hobbled away from my last half (Stevenage) with an ankle injury which took me out of action for 2 months. Much better yesterday!!

Goodness that hill at 12.5 miles.

Definitely a PW for a baggage queue - guess we were lucky it wasn't outside and that we hadn't been running in pouring rain..

But great to see each other and a way more pleasant experience than Roding Valley.

How can the queue to collect a bag be an hour and a half !!!?  What was going on ?

London marathon baggage collection is about 5 seconds (or less....)

Well done everyone! Great times all round. Lucy enjoyed her first outing as a Spartan. Quite a few don't seem to be listed as Spartans and Ben seems to have joined FVS TRI if we are led to believe the results are right?
Did anyone get a PB in the baggage queue - I doubt it!! Some friends said they were in a queue for the baggage for an hour and a half??

Well done everybody, organisation was definitely hopeless, I didn't think I was going to find the 10k start line today, no marshall or signpost in sight! Was a great course and great weather so all worth it in the end... Smiley

Was funny hearing them announce on the tannoy 'Could somebody please correct the time on the finishing clock as its 10 minutes out!' Summed up the organisation!

Results attached or you can go here: http://www.mkhalf.co.uk/results/2010MKHalfResults.pdf

They've only added the club for 15 people.  I've found this a lot with races lately.  My chip time agreed to my watch for a change so 1:33:49  Cheesy

I think the race was good, weather was good as well but the organisation was hopeless.  I've reviewed it to that effect on Runners World.  Bring on Silverstone next week, hopefully chip away a few more seconds  Smiley

Great race today, shame the baggage collection spoiled what was otherwise a very well organised event.

Thanks to everyone for their encouragement, especially Andy P for cheering us on through that brutal last mile!

Well done to all those who ran today and for putting up with that terrible baggage queue.

See you at training this week.
